Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes
The Hotel Mondrian Bordeaux, a project conceived by architect and designer Philippe Starck, sits at the heart of the historic Chartrons district.
Renowned for its unique combination of contemporary design and Japanese cultural influences, this luxury hotel has attracted significant recognition. Opened in November 2020, the hotel occupies a historic building with a rich history, having served as both a château and chais for the Hanappier and Calvet wine houses.
Philippe Starck’s work transformed this building into a luxury hotel, incorporating elements of design inspired by Asia and Bordeaux culture.
