A single-seater similar to the D50 for the V8 engine and De Dion rear axle. This was the last season with the Lancia V8-engines, but it wasn’t as successful as the years before. Fangio didn’t race for Ferrari anymore, but a young Mike Hawthorn joined the team from Maranello.
