FDA - Bianchi seventh at the Moscow Raceway

Maranello, 15 July – Jules Bianchi’s trip to Moscow ended with seventh place in Race 2 of the World Series 3.5 on the new track on the doorstep of the Russian capital. The Frenchman’s run to the podium was compromised by contact in the early stages of the race with Marco Sorensen (Lotus), which cancelled out the advantage of the promising pole position he secured in this morning’s qualifying (1.23.388). Having slipped back to 18th place after touching Antonio Felix da Costa (Arden Caterham), the Ferrari Driver Academy driver nonetheless put in a great drive up through the field en route to a top ten finish. The World Series 3.5 drivers now begin their summer break with the next round scheduled for the weekend of August 26 at Silverstone as support to the FIA World Endurance Championship.
