In an unprecedented turnout, 73,600 racing enthusiasts flocked to the Italian leg of the 6 Hours of Imola, marking a historic moment as the Ferrari - AF Corse team entered the fray for the second round of the FIA WEC 2024, hosted for the very first time at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The Italian date can be relived thanks to the latest episode of ‘Full Access: the Red Line’, the web series available on the official Ferrari YouTube channel.

From the rendezvous in the heart of the historic Emilian city in the run-up to the race, where the team had an opportunity to interact with the tifosi, to the drivers who made a grand entrance onto the track in the Ferrari Purosangue – the first four-door, four-seat car from the Maranello manufacturer – this latest episode shines a behind-the-scenes spotlight on the world championship event, which even featured a special appearance by Ferrari Chairman John Elkann on Hyperpole day.

Standing out among the race's key players were Antonio Fuoco, claiming pole position and setting the race's fastest lap, accompanied by fellow-drivers Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen in the number 50 499P, while Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi battled it out in the number 51 Hypercar.

The race – which unfolded with a commanding presence of three Ferrari 499Ps in the top three grid positions – saw the duo in the iconic red liveries, followed by the number 83 AF Corse entry driven by official Prancing Horse drivers Yifei Ye and Robert Shwartzman, alongside Robert Kubica. The race finished with fourth and seventh places for crews of the Ferraris number 50 and 51, while the number 83 clinched victory in the class reserved for independent teams.
