A Flourishing Environment
At Ferrari, the quality of the cars is inseparable from the quality of life enjoyed by the people who create them. Every building in Maranello reflects this belief, with spaces bathed in natural light, carefully managed climate control and close attention to safety and acoustic comfort. These are environments where talent, creativity, and passion flourish.
In recent years, Ferrari has deepened this philosophy through an expansion of green spaces across its campus. More than 25,000 trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds now weave nature into the rhythm of daily life. Workers stroll through gardens, past flowering shrubs and can glance from their desks to reconnect with the natural world.

Inside the e-building, Ferrari is taking this idea further still. New ceiling-mounted greenery will bring nature above the workspace, preserving visual harmony and calm even as production areas evolve. Elsewhere, the Lavorazioni Meccaniche department houses a tropical garden alive with aloe, Buddleja, and California poppies – an oasis of colour and vitality at the heart of precision engineering.
A new Bees Project underscores Ferrari’s commitment to the wider ecosystem. Two hundred thousand bees now thrive in outdoors areas on-site, pollinating some 90 million flowers each day across nearly 3000 hectares.
It’s a reminder that engineering and nature really can coexist in harmony, and – for those who work at Maranello – the proof is everywhere.
