Weekend preview: five Ferraris at 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi

The stage is set for the first track event of the year. The Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, will host round two of the 24H Series Middle East Trophy, with five Ferraris on the entry list.

24H Series. This weekend, five Ferrari 296 GT3 cars will participate in the second round of the 2025–26 championship season. The Abu Dhabi track will host the six-hour race, which takes place just one week before the 24 Hours at the Dubai circuit.

The entries in the GT3 class include the number 25 Ferrari from Into Africa Racing by Dragon, crewed by Stuart White, Xolile Letlaka and Axcil Jefferies. In the Pro-Am, three Ferrari 296 GT3 cars will line up: the number 88 Dragon Race entry with Laurent de Meeus, Jamie Stanley, Matt Griffin, John Dhillon and Oscar Ryndziewicz; the number 56 Scuderia Praha car driven by Miroslav and Matúš Výboh alongside Josef Král; and the number 555 Maezawa Racing entry, crewed by Japanese pairing Yusaku Maezawa and Naoki Yokomizo. Completing the Ferrari lineup, the GT3 Am class will feature the number 86 Baron Motorsport entry, driven by Ernst Kirchmayr, Philipp Baron and Edoardo Bacci.

Following free practice and qualifying on Friday, 9 January, the six-hour race will run on Saturday, with the start set for 3 p.m. local time.
