Coletta: “For Corse Clienti, 2025 was a year of growth in terms of participation and the activities we organised”
A wealth of new developments confirms steady growth and ever-increasing interest. That, in a nutshell, sums up the 2025 season for Corse Clienti. Alongside the success of the 34th edition of the Ferrari Challenge, which also saw the debut of the new Australasia series, participation increased across all the Maranello manufacturer’s non-competitive activities. These included the twentieth anniversary of the XX Programme, as well as exclusive events and opportunities, such as the Corso Pilota held in Lapland in February.
This global success is clearly reflected in the words of Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Ferrari Endurance and Corse Clienti.
Starting with the Ferrari Challenge, what figures highlight this growth, and what are the future prospects?
Having more than one hundred 296 Challenge cars on track at last October’s Finali Mondiali at Mugello is in itself a clear demonstration of the growing interest in and participation in a championship that ranks among the longest-running and most prestigious one-make series in the world. But that’s not all: the Japanese series, launched only in 2023, has already achieved impressive numbers, with about thirty cars on track. In the UK, entries have stabilised at around twenty per round, while we have also introduced the Australasia series, which debuted alongside the legendary Bathurst 12 Hour. When you consider that the two international championships, Europe and North America, now consistently draw around seventy entries each, it is clear that the Ferrari Challenge is in robust health. And that is not where we stop...
The launch of a new Regional series was announced during the Finali Mondiali.
As I said at the presentation, the launch of our Middle East series in 2026 further strengthens the Ferrari Challenge’s global footprint, offering our clients the opportunity to compete on some of the most iconic and spectacular circuits in the region, from Bahrain and Yas Marina to Qatar and Saudi Arabia. We have slightly adjusted our philosophy. In the past, we focused exclusively on continental series; now, alongside Europe and the United States, we are concentrating on developing Regional series, which we firmly believe can be even more effective and attract yet more clients to take part in the races.
Where and how can the series further boost its appeal?
In my view, we can enhance the appeal of the series by sparking greater interest among those who follow it. Sure, these aren't races like the FIA WEC or Formula 1, but the Ferrari Challenge is fun, fast and exciting. Ferraris are racing on track, and the message we can convey is one of magnificent supercars battling it out, with striking liveries and showcasing what gentleman drivers can achieve in competition.
Corse Clienti is much more than the Ferrari Challenge. How are the other activities doing?
I would say that 2025 marks a landmark year for the Sport Prototipi Clienti programme. Thanks in part to the delivery of almost all the 499P Modificata cars sold during the season, more than 20 cars were on track during the Finali Mondiali at Mugello and it was a beautiful sight. The same was true of the XX Programme and F1 Clienti, with more than 70 cars taking centre stage at the many events we organised worldwide throughout the year. Not to mention the continued growth of Club GT, which had about twenty participants at each event in 2025.
As mentioned earlier, the XX Programme marked its twentieth anniversary this year. A milestone that may have seemed unimaginable when it launched.
Twenty years ago, it might have seemed like a crazy idea; however, it has proved to be a major success, continuously evolving, attracting new clients, and generating extraordinary demand. Today, after many years, we can say that we have created one of the most exclusive clubs in the world, where entry is granted simply by purchasing the car itself. I believe this is something truly unique. Many have tried to replicate or organise something similar, but no one has succeeded in doing what we do, thanks to the extraordinary models involved and the impeccable level of organisation we provide.
One of the strengths of the Corse Clienti world is its high level of organisation.
Logistics, as I always say, are the backbone of all our activities and can determine the success or failure of everything we do. Why is that? Because today we are moving extraordinary volumes of equipment, vehicles, and people: staff, guests, and clients. What we did at the Finali Mondiali, and what we consistently deliver across all our events, particularly those held outside Europe, is truly remarkable.
Added to this is the value of our partners.
Partners are crucial to our success. Without our partners, we would not have the strength to take on certain challenges. We can only thank them and continue to raise our standards in meeting their expectations and requirements, while also supporting their objectives.
