“Full Access: The Red Line”: Ferrari world champion in Bahrain
The Sakhir circuit in Bahrain hosted the final round of the 2025 FIA WEC, where Ferrari celebrated the World Manufacturers’ title and Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi secured the World Drivers’ Championship with the number 51 Ferrari 499P. The new episode of the web series Full Access: The Red Line, now available on Ferrari’s official YouTube channel, allows fans to relive the entire Bahrain week, following the on-track action and revealing previously unheard conversations, exclusive footage and behind-the-scenes moments.
Starting with the arrival of the drivers and teams in the Gulf state that traditionally hosts the FIA WEC finale, and continuing through free practice, qualifying, Hyperpole and the race on Saturday 8 November, the storyline retraces the conclusion of a memorable season day by day.
A year in which the Prancing Horse claimed the Manufacturers’ crown – 53 years after its previous endurance world title in 1972 – and, as mentioned, the Drivers’ title with the trio who had already won the Centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The 2025 season has already secured a place in motorsport history for another reason: Ferrari finished the year with its three crews occupying the top three positions in the Drivers’ standings. Behind Pier Guidi–Calado–Giovinazzi were the winners of the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, Yifei Ye, Robert Kubica and Phil Hanson, in the number 83 499P entered by AF Corse, which also clinched the FIA World Cup for Hypercar Teams. Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen crossed the line third in the number 50 499P of the official Ferrari – AF Corse team.
The race ended with the number 50 499P finishing in third place. Next came its “sister” car, the number 51; the number 83 finished fifth.
“This milestone fills us with pride and represents the fulfilment of a dream – the culmination of a journey we began in 2022, when we decided to return to the top class of endurance racing – commented Ferrari Chairman John Elkann after the race –. A journey that has seen us triumph three times in a row at Le Mans and now enables us to celebrate not only two world titles, but above all the strength of a team that has worked as one – facing the many challenges of endurance racing with humility, determination, and a constant desire to improve.”
