Maranello 30 September 2025

The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Australasia was a significant new addition to the 2025 calendar, its inaugural season taking the Prancing Horse cars to some of the continent’s most prestigious circuits. The series kicked off at Bathurst, continued with back-to-back rounds at Phillip Island and Sydney in May and June, and concluded with a grand finale at The Bend. Its debut gained added prestige through association with major international events such as the Bathurst 12 Hour and GT World Challenge Australia, which gave the competition even greater visibility.

Indeed, The Bend witnessed the crowning of the series' first champions. In the Trofeo Pirelli, the title went to Antoine Gittany, representing Ferrari Sydney, who accumulated 135 points to finish twelve ahead of his teammate Jim Pollicina. The contest went down to the final race, where Gittany sealed the crown by climbing the top step of the podium in Race-2. Behind them, Cameron Campbell of Ferrari Richmond finished third in the overall standings.

Enzo Cheng, also representing Ferrari Sydney, claimed the inaugural Coppa Shell title after dominating the season with 164 points. He finished ahead of David Trewern of Ferrari Gold Coast on 118, with Masahiro Taguchi of Ferrari Brisbane completing the podium.

Lastly, in the Trofeo Pirelli 488 class, open to drivers competing with the predecessor to the 296 Challenge, victory went to Misho Stephan of Ferrari North Shore. Stephan capped a strong championship campaign with 139 points and a win in Race-1 at The Bend, finishing ahead of Jarrod Ferrari of Barbagallo Ferrari and Japan’s Baby Kei of Cornes Osaka.
