Jazz Open Modena is an offshoot of the historic Jazz Open Stuttgart, one the top three major European festivals for jazz and contemporary music.

Now Jazz Open comes to Italy for the first time, with an inaugural edition set to take place in Modena from 13 to 18 July 2026 under the artistic direction of Jurgen Schlensog.

The main stage will be set up in Piazza Roma, at the heart of the historic centre, while several free "Open Stages" concerts will take place within the Giardino Ducale Estense, with the line-up for the club stage Il Baluardo also to be announced shortly.

The Modena edition has already announced its first guests, true icons of the international music scene: Gregory Porter, Diana Krall, Moby, Jamie Cullum, Joss Stone and Jean-Michel Jarre.
