The secrets of Amalfi’s elegance

How was the spectacular design of the new Ferrari Amalfi achieved? The new 2+ front mid-engine V8 Berlinetta from Maranello was designed by Ferrari Centro Stile. For the Ferrari Amalfi, the design team – headed by Flavio Manzoni – started from the elegance and perfect proportions of the Ferrari Roma, giving it a bolder character. The design process is highly complex, requiring constant dialogue and collaboration between designers, virtual and physical modellers, and colour and trim experts, as well as other departments such as technical management and aerodynamics. The result is a design that expresses beauty, elegance and originality, while meeting every technical and regulatory requirement: a synthesis of high performance, 2+ versatility and refined aesthetics.
