Ferrari and Montblanc write A New Chapter

When Ferrari and Montblanc first collaborated in 2021 with the Great Characters Enzo Ferrari edition, it introduced the precision craftmanship and design signatures of Ferrari to the world of luxury writing instruments.

Now the collaboration is returning with the Meisterstück Great Masters collection. The collection, designed in collaboration with Ferrari Styling Centre, is based on the iconic Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen first launched in 1924, and inspired by the design worlds of the Ferrari Tailor Made Personalisation Programme: Classica, Inedita and Scuderia.

The first writing instrument to be launched is the Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Classica Special Edition – inspired by Classica’s colours, materials and components that are so evocative of Ferrari grand tourers from the 1950s and ’60s.

The Great Masters Collection is based on the renowned Meisterstück Montblanc fountain pen

Highlights include a finely crafted mahogany barrel inlaid with a black lacquer stripe, and an intricate cross-hatch pattern on the platinum-coated forepart, cone and cap, all of which echoes the tactile wooden rims and metal spokes of classic three-spoke Ferrari steering wheels.

The iconic Prancing Horse is also integrated into the barrel, while the Montblanc emblem occupies its traditional position on the cap top and is specially rendered in yellow – a tribute to the colour of Enzo Ferrari’s Modenese birthplace.

Removing the cap reveals either the artistry of a handcrafted rhodium-coated Montblanc nib handcrafted from Au 750 solid gold, or the precision of a Montblanc rollerball.

The Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Classica Special Edition is available now from Montblanc boutiques and online, as well as selected Ferrari boutiques.
