A 12Cilindri Tailor Made, Crafted For South Korea
The concept of personalisation is inseparable from the earliest days of Ferrari, when royalty, film stars and titans of business would commission one-off coachbuilt 12-cylinder grand tourers to their personal wishes. Not only has that history endured through the decades, it is now being taken to new heights with the reveal of a very special model from the flagship Tailor Made personalisation programme – a 12Cilindri created through close collaboration between Ferrari Centro Stile, a group of leading South Korean artists, COOL HUNTING®, the US-based publication known for its long-standing engagement with design, culture and technology, and JaeEun “jane” Lee, who served as the project’s curator. Over the course of nearly two years, the teams worked across three continents to blend Ferrari’s engineering and design expertise with the artistic and cultural energy of contemporary Korea.

Each artist leaves a distinct creative fingerprint on the project. Textile artist and Loewe Foundation Craft Prize winner Dahye Jeong brings her unique hand weaving style into the two-seat cabin, translating its delicacy with a new 3D fabric developed by a South Korean company, a screen-printed glass roof and hand-woven Mongolian horsehair skillfully integrated into the dashboard.
Multiple award-winner Hyunhee Kim applies her distinctive semi-translucent style to areas such as the Scuderia Ferrari shields, Prancing Horse and even the transmission tunnel to create an immersive, dream-like environment. The theme is complemented by the restrained use of white across selected interior and exterior elements, which draws on the expertise of TaeHyun Lee, whose research into lacquer, layering and surface transformation informs details such as brake calipers and paddleshift controls.
Captivating Tailor Made details include translucent materials, white lacquered finishes and a visual trace of the V12's soundtrack ghosted over the bonnet
With the naturally aspirated V12 engine central to the 12Cilindri’s name and character, it’s appropriate that sound and performance artists GRAYCODE, jiiiiin have translated its acoustic character into a subtle ghosted graphic trace running along the centre of the bonnet.
All four artists’ contributions are unified by a bespoke exterior paint finish that shifts iridescently from green to violet with blue highlights, drawing inspiration from Celadon ceramics, the sparkle of sunlight on the sea and the vibrant cosmopolitan energy of Seoul. Named Yoonseul, the distinctive finish will soon be offered to other Tailor Made clients.
Inspired by tradition, driven by innovation, the Tailor Made 12Cilindri takes personalisation to new levels of exclusivity.
