Relive the 6 Hours of Monza with “The Red Line”

The new episode of the “The Red Line” series is dedicated to the Monza 6 Hours, the Ferrari – AF Corse team’s home race, held at the Italian Temple of Speed on the weekend of 9 July. It’s possible to go back over the Italian event, also the fifth of the FIA WEC, thanks to the episode available on the “Ferrari” YouTube channel.

In front of more than 65,000 Tifosi who brought the grandstands of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza to life, the 499Ps earned a second and fifth place respectively with Hypercars number 50, with Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen, and number 51 shared by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi.

In addition to the track activities, the cameras focused on the arrival of the Ferrari – AF Corse team in Brianza, from the days before the sporting event, when the spaces dedicated to the Prancing Horse were set up in the circuit’s paddock, including the hospitality embellished with images celebrating the feat in France following success in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The episode trains the spotlight on the 499P drivers, who drove a Ferrari Purosangue during the weekend to reach the facility inaugurated in 1922, welcomed by a jubilant crowd on the lookout for an autograph or souvenir photo.

The next episode of the web series will cover the 6 Hours of Fuji, the penultimate event of the international season scheduled for 10 September on the track that was inaugurated on the slopes of the volcano of the same name in 1965.
