Comments after qualifying in Bahrain

Sakhir 07 November 2025

The final round of the 2025 FIA WEC will see the number 51 Ferrari 499P, qualified and run in the Hyperpole by Antonio Giovinazzi, start from seventh place. Eleventh and twelfth respectively, thanks to the times set by Antonio Fuoco and Robert Kubica, will be the number 50 and 83 499Ps.

Here are the comments gathered at Sakhir.

Antonio Giovinazzi, 499P number 51: “We can consider seventh on the grid a positive result. We’re starting ahead of our direct rivals and we know our race pace is stronger than what we showed in qualifying. It’s going to be a long and demanding race: we start with confidence and with the awareness that we’ll need to be sharp with strategy, tyre choice and overall race management.”

Antonio Fuoco, 499P number 50: “It was a difficult session, even though the feeling with the car was good. I made a small mistake at turn 11 which probably cost us the chance to get into Hyperpole. In any case, I don’t think we could have done much better today. Now we’re focusing on the race and we’ll do everything we can to bring home a great result.”
