The public warmly welcomed the Prancing Horse on its arrival for its FIA WEC “home” race. Drivers Antonio Fuoco and Antonio Giovinazzi took to the stage in the centre of the capital of the Province of Monza and Brianza on the evening of Thursday 6 July, alongside Antonello Coletta, Ferrari Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti.

Ahead of the Monza 6 Hours, round five of the World Endurance Championship, Mayor Paolo Pilotto and Monza City Councillor for Sport Viviana Guidetti presented Coletta with a special award for the Ferrari – AF Corse team’s victory at the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. “A historic triumph, the result of the work of the entire team, of which we are proud. Never before has a manufacturer won on its debut in the world’s most important endurance race,” said Coletta.

Amidst applause from fans flocking to Piazza Trento e Trieste, many representing Scuderia Ferrari Clubs, Fuoco and Giovinazzi, the drivers of the number 50 and 51 499Ps, after posing for the usual photos and signing autographs, invited everyone to the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza for the race weekend. The 6 Hours will start on Sunday 9 July at 12.30 p.m. (local time).
