Niccolò Maccagnani to race with Prema Racing in the Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships

Maranello 16 December 2025

The Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy is pleased to confirm the plans for 2026 for Niccolò Maccagnani, who will officially join Maranello’s young driver programme from 1 January. The Rome-born driver, born in 2010, will contest the Italian F4 Championship and will also race in the Euro 4 Championship, effectively the two most competitive entry-level single-seater series in the world.

Positive autumn. Niccolò’s racing experience to date is still relatively limited, but he has completed an intensive testing programme. His single-seater debut came this season, when he made his first appearance in September in the F4 South East Asia series, where he took three wins and three further podium finishes in six races. He also had the opportunity to get a first taste, over one weekend each at Misano and Monza, of the championships he will contest this year, Italian F4 and Euro 4. The Italian driver has just finished second overall in the Formula Trophy UAE.

“I am very happy to take this step in my career by joining the Prema Racing team,” said Maccagnani. “Being part of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy gives me great motivation: together we will try to do our very best and see how far we can go.”
