Boundless passion
This season, Ferrari clients from across the globe have once again driven on the world’s most beautiful and iconic circuits, showcasing the distinctive aerodynamics, engine power and allure of the Prancing Horse. Now they gather at the Mugello International Circuit for a week of thrills and fun, both on and off the track. As always, these participants in Ferrari’s non-competitive activities and programmes will conclude their season alongside the Ferrari Challenge at the highly anticipated Finali Mondiali.
At the Scarperia circuit, the focus will be on the twentieth anniversary of the XX Programme, launched in 2005. This exclusive initiative features Ferrari’s most extreme and advanced cars – the product of cutting-edge technological research – in private track events supported and managed by Ferrari engineers. Through continuous data collection, they help lay the foundations for innovations that will later be applied to the Prancing Horse’s road cars. At Mugello, an exclusive group of owners will take to the track in separate sessions for the FXX K series and the 599XX & FXX series. Two 20-minute sessions per day will alternate with other programmes from Thursday to Sunday.
The first of Ferrari’s non-competitive client activities, the F1 Clienti programme – with its historic single-seaters – will also be among the most anticipated on the Tuscan track. This unique initiative offers a select group of enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase and lap the track in the Formula 1 cars with which Scuderia Ferrari competed over the past twenty, thirty and even forty years. At Mugello, they will be in action in 20-minute sessions – two per day – from Thursday to Sunday, joined by the Sport Prototipi Clienti cars. The newest and most evocative of the special programmes brings the 499P Modificata to the track. Unveiled at the 2023 Finali Mondiali at the Mugello International Circuit, this is another unique programme, offering owners of the model derived from the 499P – winner of the last three editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans – the chance to participate in exclusive, non-competitive events. The 499P Modificata is a track-only car, equipped with a hybrid powertrain and produced in a strictly limited series. It has been designed for a select group of clients and is not subject to the regulations or restrictions of official championships.
Club Competizioni GT, another Ferrari Corse Clienti event, will take place at the Mugello circuit on Monday, 27 October, with sessions lasting 185 and 285 minutes.
Club Competizioni GT captures the spirit of Ferrari’s racing heritage, bringing together over thirty years of history with the stars of today’s top GT championships. This exclusive initiative honours the most captivating and successful Ferrari GT race cars of recent decades.
Owners of these remarkable vehicles, manufactured since 1989, have a unique opportunity to take part in events at some of the world’s most iconic and prestigious circuits. It is a rare chance to bring Ferrari’s GT racing legacy back to life on the track, showcasing the legendary cars that have contributed to the Prancing Horse’s illustrious record of triumphs.
