On the Mugello Circuit, finally bathed in sunshine, Andrew Morrow (Charles Hurst) claimed a second consecutive victory in the Trofeo Pirelli Am, while Fabrizio Fontana (Formula Racing) took the Coppa Shell and Jan Sandmann (Kessel Racing) the Coppa Shell Am.

The American series also crowned its last champions of the season, with Massimo Perrina (Ferrari of Seattle) taking the Trofeo Pirelli and Brad Fauvre (Ferrari of San Francisco) the Am category. Mitchell Green (Ferrari of Westlake) secured the Coppa Shell, on a day when his rival Yahn Bernier (Ferrari of Seattle) also won Race 2 in the class. In the Coppa Shell Am, a Melissa Kozyra (Ferrari of Naples) took both race victories while the title was awarded to Michael Owens (Ferrari of Alberta). In the Trofeo Pirelli, victory went to Dylan Medler (The Collection) and Rey Acosta (The Collection) took the Am category.

Crowning the week of the Finali Mondiali, the world titles will be awarded on Sunday before the long-awaited Ferrari Show. In addition to the official Ferrari works drivers, who took turns as Race Advisor for the one-make racing series, the Mugello Circuit was also host to drivers from Scuderia Ferrari HP Esports and the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy.

Ferrari Challenge Europe. Felix Hirsiger needed a win to be crowned 2025 Trofeo Pirelli champion and the Swiss driver achieved it by winning the second race at Mugello, leading the race throughout and setting the best time of 1’48”600. For Hirsiger, this is the ninth win of the season, winning both heats at Misano, Hockenheim and Barcelona, and taking six pole positions and two fastest laps. His rival throughout the championship, fellow countryman Jasin Ferati (Emil Frey Racing), started today from the back of the pack, finishing just off the podium. The podium was occupied by Björn Grossmann (B.I. Corse – Octane 126) in second and Vincenzo Scarpetta (Radicci Automobili) in third on his return to the series. Gilles Renmans (Francorchamps Motors Brussels), seventh today, maintains third position in the final championship standings.

In the Trofeo Pirelli Am, Andrew Morrow, who was long in the fight with drivers from the higher class, took victory in both heats. The Briton, starting alongside the series champion Hendrik Viol (Scuderia Praha Racing), managed to get ahead of him in the first phase of the race and concluded the race with the best lap time among the Am drivers. Michael Verhagen (Ferrari Warszawa) finished second, maintaining second place in the final standings just ahead of Morrow, while the lowest step of the Mugello podium was taken by Danilo Del Favero (Penske Sportwagen Hamburg).

Fabrizio Fontana returned to victory in the Coppa Shell, the 2024 Am champion managing to take the lead in the early stages and holding off the recovery attempts of Oscar Ryndziewicz (Kessel Racing), who finished second. Third place went to Ernst Kirchmayr (Kessel Racing), yesterday’s winner, after the five-second penalty handed to John Dhillon (Formula Racing) for exceeding track limits. Behind the newly-crowned champion Manuela Gostner (Ineco – Reparto Corse RAM), seventh in today’s race, the 2025 podium was completed, in order, by Ryndziewicz and Dhillon.

With the drivers’ crown already secured by Sven Schömer (Penske Sportwagen Hamburg), Jan Sandmann closed the European season with a victory, thanks to the decisive passing maneouvre halfway through the race on Schömer who started today from pole position. Andrea Levy (Rossocorsa), yesterday’s winner, finished third. Sandmann also took the extra point for fastest lap, consolidating his second place in the final overall standings ahead of Andreas König (Emil Frey Racing).

Ferrari Challenge North America. It was a tight battle for the final race of the American series, which awarded the remaining titles. The final celebration in the Trofeo Pirelli goes to the 2024 champion Dylan Medler, who triumphed ahead of Roberto Perrina (Ferrari of Seattle) and Massimo Perrina. In the Trofeo Pirelli Am, the win went to Rey Acosta, taking his first seasonal victory ahead of Jay Logan and the new class champion Brad Fauvre.

In the Coppa Shell, the repeat win achieved today by Yahn Bernier ahead of his season-long rival Mitchell Green, who clinched the class title, was not enough. Third place today went to Chuck Whittall (Ferrari of Central Florida).

Victory in both heats in the Coppa Shell Am as well for Melissa Kozyra, who took victory ahead of Michael Owens (Ferrari of Alberta) and Tom Petramalo (Ferrari of Seattle), with Owens crowned champion.
