Ferrari Ignites Mugello: The Finali Mondiali Return from October 21 to 26

Maranello 20 October 2025

The Mugello International Circuit is set to host its eighteenth Finali Mondiali, the eagerly awaited week-long celebration running from 21 to 26 October. The event will combine the passion of Ferrari fans with the excitement of on-track action, alongside a series of initiatives celebrating the Prancing Horse’s racing heritage and the successes of the past season, rounding off the Corse Clienti year.

The Tuscan circuit will come alive on Thursday, 23 and Friday, 24 October with the decisive races of the Ferrari Challenge Europe and North America series, set to crown this season’s champions. On Sunday, 26 October, all eyes will be on the Finali Mondiali races, which will decide the world titles in the four classes of the Maranello manufacturer’s one-make series, a tradition spanning more than three decades. The Scarperia track will also host sessions from Ferrari's exclusive, non-competitive programmes, including F1 Clienti, Sport Prototipi Clienti, Club Competizioni GT, and the XX Programme, celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year. A total of 117 cars will take to the 5.245-kilometre Tuscan circuit, joined by more than 40 others in the museum area, which will host some of the most beautiful and iconic Ferraris in motorsport history.

As tradition dictates, the Mugello Circuit will open its stands to Ferrari employees and Ferrari Club members. All the Tifosi and enthusiasts can enjoy complimentary access to the Prato grass areas from Thursday, 23 to Sunday, 26 October. There will also be extensive TV and streaming coverage, with DAZN Italia broadcasting selected on-track sessions on its freely accessible channel (registration required).

Ferrari Challenge Europe. The 33rd edition of the European series, one of the longest-running one-make championships, has produced only one champion ahead of the showdown in Scarperia. Thanks to a season built on consistency, Hendrik Viol (Scuderia Praha Racing) secured the Trofeo Pirelli Am crown back in September at Spa-Francorchamps, where the battle in the other classes heated up.

In the Trofeo Pirelli, the contest is between two young Swiss drivers, Felix Hirsiger (Ineco Reparto Corse RAM) and Jasin Ferati (Emil Frey Racing), who have gone head-to-head throughout the season. After the Belgian round, just eight points separate them, with Hirsiger holding the lead. The two 30-minute races in Tuscany promise plenty of excitement.

In the Coppa Shell, Italy’s Manuela Gostner (Ineco Reparto Corse RAM) holds a more reassuring lead, 27 points over John Dhillon (Formula Racing) and 29 over Oscar Ryndziewicz (Kessel Racing). Both rivals took one win apiece in the Spa doubleheader and will be aiming to turn the tables at Mugello.

In the Coppa Shell Am, Sven Schömer (Penske Hamburg Motorsport) saw his lead reduced to just ten points after his main rival, fellow German Jan Sandmann, secured a double victory in Belgium. With 34 points still up for grabs, Emil Frey Racing’s Andreas König remains mathematically in contention, sitting 32 points behind the leader.

After Wednesday’s qualifying sessions, the first races will run on Thursday, 23 October, beginning at 10:15 a.m. with the Coppa Shell. This is followed at 12:05 p.m. by the Trofeo Pirelli and Trofeo Pirelli Am, and at 4:45 p.m. by the Coppa Shell Am. Coppa Shell Am Race-2 takes place on Friday, 24 October, at 12:05 p.m., with the Trofeo Pirelli and Trofeo Pirelli Am scheduled at 2:55 p.m., and the final race at 4:45 p.m. for the Coppa Shell.

Ferrari Challenge North America.  All titles in the North American series are still in play, with the two races at Mugello set to decide the champions. In the Trofeo Pirelli, the contest is expected to come down to a duel between Massimo Perrina (Ferrari of Seattle), with seven wins this season, and Dylan Medler (The Collection), who has also competed in this year’s European series. Roberto Perrina (Ferrari of Seattle), still mathematically in contention, will be determined not to settle for a supporting role. In the Trofeo Pirelli Am, Brad Fauvre (Ferrari of San Francisco) will look to seal the championship by defending his 47-point lead over Sebastian Mascaro (Ferrari of Central Florida). In the Coppa Shell, the contest is between Mitchel Green (Ferrari of Westlake) and Yahn Bernier (Ferrari of Seattle), with Gary Ott (Ferrari of Philadelphia) still mathematically in the running. The Coppa Shell Am is even closer, with just three points separating current leader Gabe Hrib (Ferrari of Atlanta) from Michael Owens (Ferrari of Alberta). Louis Flory (Ferrari of Houston) is also still in contention, though further back.

Race-1 of the North American series will take place on Thursday, 23 October, at 2:55 p.m., with Race-2 scheduled for Friday, 24 October, at 10:15 a.m.

Finali Mondiali. Once both championships have finished, attention will shift to the Finali Mondiali races, which will decide the 2025 world champions. The starting grids will be set by Saturday’s qualifying sessions, on 25 October.

The green flag for the Coppa Shell Am race is at 9 a.m. on Sunday, the Coppa Shell at 10:10 a.m., and the Trofeo Pirelli and Trofeo Pirelli Am at 11:45 a.m.

Ferrari Show. Following the Finali Mondiali races, the highly anticipated Ferrari Show will deliver 75 minutes of pure on-track excitement, starting at 12:45 p.m., in a crescendo of anticipation and adrenaline. The event follows a script designed to showcase the cars and drivers who starred in the GT and Corse Clienti season, with constant references to Ferrari’s past and future. At Mugello, the new 296 GT3 Evo, unveiled last June at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, will make its first appearance before an Italian audience, joined by a tribute to the Ferrari 499P, winner of the last three editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Mugello open to the public. As already announced, and in keeping with Finali Mondiali tradition, the stands at the Tuscan circuit will be reserved – with free access – for Prancing Horse employees and members of the Ferrari Clubs. All Tifosi will enjoy complimentary access to the Prato grass area from Thursday, 23 to Sunday, 26 October, on the west side of the circuit (San Donato and Arrabbiata section) via the Palagio entrance. Parking will be available along Via dell’Autodromo.

Streaming and TV coverage. As with every round of the Ferrari Challenge season, extensive live and recorded coverage will be available for those unable to attend the Scarperia circuit in person. The final races of the Ferrari Challenge Europe and North America will be streamed live on live.ferrari.com and on Ferrari’s official YouTube channel, with commentary in English.

Extensive television and streaming coverage will be offered across Europe, the Americas, the Far East, and Australia, through various broadcasters and platforms including DAZN, Sky, and Viaplay.
