THE HISTORY OF FERRARI GT RACING CARS ON TRACK AT MUGELLO

Maranello 17 October 2025

From the F40 Competizione to the current 296 GT3, this is a journey through the history and adrenaline of Prancing Horse GT racing cars which, over the past 35 years, have tackled circuits all over the world. Club Competizioni GT is the exclusive programme that brings together a select group of clients who own Ferrari GTs, offering them the opportunity to experience track sessions, supported by engineers and GT drivers from the Maranello manufacturer.

After a season that has taken participants from Monza to Le Castellet, from Miami to Fuji, and from Barcelona to Silverstone, it will be the Mugello Circuit - during the Finali Mondiali - that celebrates Ferrari’s racing heritage and passion, with over thirty GT cars entered for the Club Competizioni GT sessions.

Alongside the contemporary 296 GT3s and the more recent 488 GT3s, which have surpassed 500 wins since their racing “career” began in 2016, Tuscany will also see older yet ever-fascinating protagonists take to the stage. Tackling the turns of the Scarperia circuit will be the 458 GT3s, that achieved, among other triumphs, two wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2012 and 2014), the 24 Hours of Daytona (2014 in the GTD class), and the 12 Hours of Bathurst (2014, overall). Also featured will be the 550 GT, the 575 GTC, the 360 GT and the F430 GT, which triumphed at Le Mans in 2009 and four times at the 12 Hours of Sebring (2007, 2009, 2010, 2011).

Club Competizioni GT will take to the stage on Saturday, 25 October with an initial 60-minute session at 3:35 p.m., followed on Sunday at 4 p.m. by a second 50-minute session. The track will then be free on Monday, 27 October with a morning session from 9:00 a.m. lasting 185 minutes and an afternoon session from 1:15 p.m. lasting 285 minutes.
