Maranello 24 July 2025

Fifteen cars participated in the fifth international round of Club Competizioni GT at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 23 and 24 July, organised by the Maranello-based manufacturer.

The entry list included two F430 GTs; a 458 Italia GT, a 458 Italia GT2, and another 458 in GT3 configuration; two 488 GT3s; five 488 GT Modificatas; and three 296 GT3s.

Ferrari clients drove the Prancing Horse’s latest GT racing car, the 296 GT3, equipped with a V6 engine delivering 600 hp (subject to Balance of Performance) and 710 Nm of maximum torque.

The car is based on the 296 GTB. Since its debut in January 2023, the 296 GT3 has already recorded over 140 victories, including significant endurance wins at the 2024 24 Hours at Daytona and the 2023 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Its list of triumphs also includes five titles, notably the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup Pro class Team and Drivers’ championships. A successful car still at the height of its racing career, the 296 GT3 will be joined in the 2026 season by the 296 GT3 Evo, which was unveiled to the public at the 2025 24 Hours of Spa.

The next Club Competizioni GT round will take place at Silverstone, England, from 5 to 7 September.
