Innovation is in our DNA and we will continue pushing boundaries to respond to customers’ desires, always setting new standards in the “Ferrari way”. 

One of our main focuses is on innovating our working methods, which involves stimulating the creativity of our employees. Pole Position Evo, for instance, rewards ideas put forward by individual staff members.

Another important source of technological innovation comes from the participation in the Formula 1 World Championship with Scuderia Ferrari.

Our focus on excellence requires a strong collaboration with our suppliers, and in particular with our “key strategic innovation partners”. Collaborations with leading universities, research centers and start-ups are also in place to foster the development of new ideas.

The success, prestige and appeal of our brand depends on its ability to attract, develop and retain talent. To underpin the career progression, ambitions and innovative approach of our people, we make substantial investments in their education. Ferrari is also strongly committed to creating an inclusive and diverse working environment while fostering career development. This endeavor received validation also in 2021 with the Equal Salary Certificate for Ferrari S.p.A. and Ferrari North America Inc.

We continue to make significant investments in safety at work: improvements in the existing structures and specific training have allowed us to enforce a safety-first culture. 

In 2021, several of our corporate welfare system’s activities continued, such as “The Formula Benessere” program, aimed at providing preventative healthcare to employees and their children.

Ferrari is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 across our entire value chain, addressing direct and indirect GHG emissions and focusing on energy and materials, in addition to our electrification journey.

In 2021, we calculated our carbon footprint based on GHG protocol methodology verified by a certification entity according to ISO 14064-1:2018 requirements. This analysis enhanced our awareness of our overall environmental impact, allowing us to determine priority areas for action.

Our most significant environmental efforts are deployed through efficiencies in the manufacturing processes and a program for the reduction of polluting emissions. Overall, since 2016 Ferrari has started to map the decoupling of its environmental impact: we continue to grow our business activities while keeping our CO 2  emissions almost stable.

Creating and sharing value within the community

Encourage strategic partnerships and the creation of positive externalities for all stakeholders.

Our goal is to create and share long-term value with our internal and external stakeholders, from our employees and partners to the broader community of customers and tifosi. In this context, community engagement and involvement with the local territory are of fundamental importance to us.

As a result of various initiatives implemented since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Group continues to provide logistical support for the vaccination campaign as well as facilities at its Fiorano track, where more than 230,000 vaccine doses have been administered so far.

Ferrari aims to promote education in the local community at high school and university level by establishing long-term relationships with technical local schools, and by collaborating with the Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna (MUNER) and other leading universities worldwide.

In 2021, the second edition of “FIA Girls on Track-Rising Stars” took place, providing the best young female talents worldwide with the tools to compete at the highest level in automobile racing.
