TRANSFORMING OUR ENERGY
We are actively investing in innovative solutions to power our operations, with state-of-the art technologies and a constant increase in our self-produced renewable energy.
A HISTORIC MILESTONE
In October 2024, Ferrari took a remarkable step in the journey towards carbon neutrality. We switched off the gas-fuelled trigeneration plant that has supplied our Maranello factory with power, heating and cooling energy since 2009. It resulted in a significant reduction in our GHG emissions.

A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE
Our shift to electric power demanded significant infrastructure investment. Ferrari chose progress over precedent, replacing our efficient trigenerator with a renovated electrical substation and new transformers. We will double our photovoltaic capacity from the current 5 MWp to 10 MWp by 2030, as we embrace a new energy mix.
LOW-BAKE PAINT TECHNOLOGY
In the Ferrari paint shop, our special transparent coating allows us to lower oven temperatures from 150°C to 100°C. This innovative process achieves a flawless finish with significant energy savings, and is capable of being used on aluminium and carbon fibre components simultaneously.
Our e-building is LEED Platinum certified, featuring cutting-edge solutions to maximise efficiency. More than 60% of the energy used for battery and motor testing is recovered to power new processes, while solar panels on the roof generate 1.3 MW of self-produced renewable energy.
Ferrari's evolution in energy use reflects a philosophy where innovation sets new industry standards - it is an expression of our ceaseless will to progress.
