We are transforming our manufacturing heart to align production excellence with our environmental responsibilities.
CERTIFIEDENVIRONMENTALMANAGEMENT
Our dedication to production efficiency has been recognised by international standards. Our plants in Maranello and Modena have held the ISO 14001 certification for environmental management since 2001, a testament to our long-standing and systematic approach to minimising our operational impact.
USINGLESSWATER
We began this project in 2024 to treat and reintroduce 60% of water from our production processes, creating a closed-loop system that cuts our plant's annual freshwater consumption by over 3%.
SETTINGSTANDARDSACROSSOURSUPPLYCHAIN
From the responsible sourcing of our materials to the decarbonisation of our logistics, we act to ensure our standards are upheld at every stage.
We have introduced a renewable diesel – Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil – for the majority of our European outbound road logistics. We began the initiative in 2023, and so far it has allowed us to reduce GHG emissions in this area by an average of 80% compared to conventional diesel.
ENGAGING OUR SUPPLIERS ON A SUSTAINABLE PATH
Our sustainability journey is a shared path, so we engage our suppliers with a Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). In 2024, we achieved a response rate of over 96% from our direct material suppliers, allowing us to assess their ESG performance and identify areas where we can work together for joint improvement.
