Three titles for Ferrari in GTD class in IMSA Endurance Cup

Road Atlanta 12 October 2025

Ferrari enjoyed a perfect weekend in the GTD class of the IMSA Endurance Cup, the premier endurance racing series in the United States, winning three titles at Petit Le Mans, the season finale, while DragonSpeed and Albert Costa narrowly missed out on championship glory in the GTD Pro.

GTD. Victory in the number 21 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 handed Alessandro Pier Guidi, Lilou Wadoux Ducellier and Simon Mann the Drivers’ title, finishing six points clear of Brendan Iribe, Frederik Schandorff and Ollie Millroy. The trio triumphed ahead of the number 023 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari driven by Onofrio Triarsi, James Calado and Kenton Koch. The Inception Racing crew had to retire after an incident on the opening lap that also involved the Conquest Racing Ferrari, driven at the time by Manny Franco. The Cetilar Racing Ferrari 296 GT3, featuring Roberto Lacorte, Miguel Molina, and Lorenzo Patrese, finished tenth after starting from pole position. The car was delayed by several incidents that dropped it down the standings.

After ten hours of racing at Petit Le Mans, AF Corse also sealed the Teams’ title ahead of Inception Racing, while Ferrari claimed the Manufacturers’ crown. In the overall standings, Conquest Racing finished sixth, with Daniel Serra and Manny Franco seventh, just ahead of Onofrio Triarsi.

GTD Pro. Ahead of the race at Atlanta, Albert Costa and DragonSpeed remained in contention for both the Drivers’ and Teams’ titles, in the Endurance Cup standings and the combined overall standings for endurance and sprint events. However, the Ferrari 296 GT3 shared with Davide Rigon and Giacomo Altoè could only finish in seventh. Two drive-through penalties and a spin cost the number 81 car a lap, preventing it from mounting a serious challenge to Sims and Garcia, who went on to secure the championship at the chequered flag.

Statistics. For Alessandro Pier Guidi, this marks his tenth career title, which also includes victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023 in the Ferrari 499P. For Lilou Wadoux Ducellier, the first woman in 20 years, and only the third since the race’s inception 28 years ago- to win Petit Le Mans, it represents her first major triumph in GT racing. Alongside Simon Mann, the pair secured Ferrari’s fourth Drivers’ title in the IMSA Endurance Cup. The previous titles were in GTD in 2014 with Townsend Bell and Bill Sweedler, in 2016 with Christina Nielsen and Alessandro Balzan, and in 2022 in GTD Pro with Daniel Serra and Davide Rigon. AF Corse, meanwhile, claimed Ferrari’s third Teams’ title, following AIM Autosport’s victory in 2014 and Risi Competizione’s success in 2022.
