Ferrari announces Lilou Wadoux contract renewal
Ferrari announces the multi-year contract renewal with Lilou Wadoux Ducellier, who will continue to represent the Maranello brand as an official driver. The collaboration between the Prancing Horse and the French driver continues; born in Amiens on 10 April 2001, in 2023 she became the first Ferrari Endurance official driver to compete in the world’s leading international competitions.
The confirmation comes just a few months after Lilou Wadoux’s first title in the Maranello manufacturer’s colours: in the 2025 season, the French driver won the Drivers’ title in the GTD class Endurance Cup of the IMSA SportsCar Championship, together with Alessandro Pier Guidi and Simon Mann. The trio triumphed at the wheel of the AF Corse 296 GT3, also contributing to class titles for Manufacturer, Ferrari, and for the team itself.
Since 2023, Lilou Wadoux has contested 32 races with Ferrari cars, recording a total of four victories and seven podium finishes.
Wadoux has taken part in two editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Ferrari: in 2023 – when she was entered for the full FIA World Endurance Championship season – and in 2025, driving respectively the 488 GTE and the 296 LMGT3 fielded by Richard Mille AF Corse. The driver also competed in the Spa 24 Hours, in the Bronze class, in 2023 with the 488 GT3 Evo 2020 and in 2024 with the 296 GT3.
Her name is written into FIA World Endurance Championship history thanks to the victory at the Spa 6 Hours in 2023 with the 488 GTE – together with Alessio Rovera and Luis Perez Companc – a success in the LMGTE Am class that allowed Wadoux to become the first female driver to win a world championship race since the establishment of the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2012.
Wadoux was also the first woman to climb the podium in the Japanese Super GT championship since the series adopted this name in 2005, thanks to second place in the GT300 class at the Sugo 300 Km in 2024, together with Kei Cozzolino, at the wheel of the 296 GT3 fielded by Ponos Racing. Among the records of the driver born in 2001 is also being the first woman to secure a victory in the LMP2 class of IMSA, in 2024.
Among her experiences with Ferrari, Lilou Wadoux also counts the two Rookie Tests contested at the wheel of the 499P, in Bahrain on the Sakhir circuit, immediately after the final FIA World Endurance Championship rounds of the 2023 and 2025 seasons.
Before joining Ferrari, Lilou Wadoux developed her career in France in the Peugeot single-marque series and at European level in the Alpine Elf Europe Cup; in 2022 she made her debut in the FIA WEC in the LMP2 class with the Richard Mille Racing Team; in both 2021 and 2022, finally, she took part in the World Endurance Championship Rookie Tests with Hypercars from other manufacturers.
Lilou Wadoux: “Continuing my journey with Ferrari makes me happy and proud. In my first three years as an official driver for the Prancing Horse I have always felt part of an extraordinary family. During this period, moreover, I achieved some important race successes and an IMSA title that means a great deal to me: the aim is to continue along this path to achieve many more victories, continuing to write motorsport pages with Ferrari.”
Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Ferrari Endurance and Corse Clienti: “We are pleased to renew the collaboration with Lilou, who has now been part of the Ferrari family for three complete seasons. Over this three-year period our driver has shown significant growth, which has led her to achieve victories in different championships, as well as to win a title in a demanding and very important series such as the IMSA. We are confident the future will bring many more successes”.
