The ceremony was hosted in Washington at the Foundation’s 50th anniversary.
Washington, October 20, 2025 – The National Italian American Foundation has awarded at its 50th anniversary gala John Elkann, Chairman of Ferrari, for his leadership in promoting Italian business excellence worldwide. The ceremony took place on October 18 in Washington, in the presence of prominent figures from the Italo-American society.
“This award is a celebration of the bond between our two nations that define who I am and who we are. I was born in America, with strong roots in Italia, and my life has been shaped by the dialogue between these two great countries," said Elkann after receiving the Award as a Global Business Leader. “I want to dedicate this honor to the enduring friendship between our nations, to the great Italian-American community and to the bright future we continue to build together.”
Elkann joins world-renowned tenor maestro Andrea Bocelli, who received the NIAF Dea Roma Lifetime Achievement Award in Entertainment.
