    Special evening at Fiorano with the Ferrari champions in the GT series

    The Attività Sportive GT department’s new headquarters hosted the award ceremonies for drivers and teams that excelled in various championships and categories with Prancing Horse cars.

    The Attività Sportive GT department’s new headquarters hosted the award ceremonies for drivers and teams that excelled in various championships and categories with Prancing Horse cars. The evening celebrated 29 titles, including the two manufacturers’ and drivers’ laurels won in the FIA WEC.

    The event. The traditional end-of-season event took place for the first time at the venue overlooking the Fiorano track, a circuit celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Enrico Galliera, Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, and Antonello Coletta, Head of Attività Sportive GT, spoke at the ceremony.

    National titles. The evening opened with a celebration of the national series champions starting with Chris Goddard, Charlie Hollings, Bradley Ellis and Jamie Stanley, winners of the Class C drivers’ title in the British Endurance Championship. Then came the winner of the GT-class of the Italian Hill Climb Trophy, Robert Guys, and Italian Hill Climb Championship drivers Lucio Peruggini, first in the GT class and GT Supercup, Stefano Artuso, winner of the GT Cup, and Tommaso Colella first place in the GTS Cup. In the Land of the Rising Sun, two drivers, Takeshi Kimura And Kei Cozzolino took the overall driver's and Pro-Am titles in the GT3 Japan Cup.

    The Maranello manufacturer’s drivers closed the Italian GT Championship season with four laurels. In the Endurance Cup, Rocco Mazzola topped the podium in the GT Cup Pro-Am class, Samuele Buttarelli and Lorenzo Cossu won the GT Cup Am class, while Easy Race claimed the GT Cup Team title. Rocco Mazzola and Louis Coluccio celebrated victory in the GT Cup Pro-Am class of the Sprint Cup.

    International races. In the Ultimate Cup Series, Edoardo Barbolini won the Coupe GT Hyper Sprint in the UGT3A class, and SR&R triumphed in the team class. Jean-Paul Pagny, Jean Bernard Bouvet and David Hallyday took the overall title in the Coupe GT Endurance.

    There were many wins in the series organised by SRO. In the GT World Challenge, Asia Kimura and Cozzolino toasted victory in the overall GT3 class and Naoki Yokomizo in the Silver. In the GT World Challenge America, Charlie Scardina and Onofrio Triarsi came out on top in the Am class and Triarsi Competizione in the Am team standings. Five titles were claimed in the GT World Challenge Europe. In the Sprint Cup, Ulysse de Pauw and Pierre Alexandre Jean lifted the Silver Cup trophy, while AF Corse took the teams’ titles in the Silver and Pro-Am class. In the Endurance Cup, Andrea Bertolini, Stefano Costantini and Louis Machiels topped the Pro-Am class, while AF Corse won the overall Pro-Am class team title. Across the Atlantic, official Competizioni GT drivers Davide Rigon and Daniel Serra claimed the GTD Pro title in the IMSA, while Risi Competizione pocketed the team title in the same class.

    World Championships. The year concluded with two FIA World Endurance Championship laurels. Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado retained their LMGTE Pro crown for the second year running, and the Maranello manufacturer repeated last year’s success in the GTE class. The other two official drivers, Nicklas Nielsen and Alessio Rovera, also celebrated after taking first place in the Pro-Am class with LMP2 prototypes.

    Special recognition. The spotlight was also on Andrea Bertolini, Stefano Costantini, Louis Machiels and Alessio Rovera at the event, for their victory at the Spa 24 Hours in the GT3 Pro Am class. So too for Sarah Bovy, Rahel Frey and Michelle Gatting, who with Doriane Pin triumphed in the same endurance race in the Gold class.
