Racing style exhaust
The kit contains a complete exhaust, special engine ECU, catalytic converters (not for the USA version). This solution is 7 kg lighter than the standard exhaust and provides a strong racing-style sound. The racing-style exhaust is approved for road circulation and covered by the Ferrari warranty. Not available for the Australian and Japanese markets. Please contact your Authorised Dealer to verify the possibility of installation.
Kit for EU version
The racing-type exhaust was approved in Europe for Ferrari 360 Modena and Spider vehicles that are conform to Directive 1999/102/CE (and following) on polluting emissions.
These are the vehicles type “Euro Stage 3” (EC homologation codes: e3*98/14*0043*03 and 04, and the following), introduced in autumn 2000. As a consequence, only this version vehicles may be fitted with the racing-type exhaust.
Kit for USA version
The racing-type exhaust comes with specific injection-ignition Bosch Motronic ECUs, which were approved and certified for the USA and Canada on the MY 2004 and 2005, with the following part numbers:
- MY 2004 206424 for Manual gearbox (M6) - 206425 for F1 gearbox (A6/S6)
- MY 2005 214040 for Manual gearbox (M6) - 214041 for F1 gearbox (A6/S6)
It is not permitted to fit the above listed ECUs on MYs 1999 (Tier 1 certification) and 2000•2003 (LEV I certification).
