Ferrari Historic Race - Trofeo Shell

The first Ferrari Historic Race - Trofeo Shell will take place at the World Finals event at Valencia, from 25 to 28 November, in an initiative involving former competitors in the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge. The only cars eligible to take part are Ferraris which have received the Certificate of Authenticity or the Attestation for Vehicle of Historic Interest, in possession of an FIA Historic Technical Passport (HTP.)
Also eligible will be cars originally designed for road use and then used in competition at the time when they were available for commercial sale, as long as their entry is supported by documentary evidence that that they raced in the past as well as cars that were not built specifically to take part in motor sport activity, but which should also have been issued with C.S.A.I. homologation papers making them eligible for competition at that time. These cars must be in their original configuration, with the only changes allowed being those in line with current FIA safety requirements. Eligible cars will be divided into various categories, although they will race together from the same grid.
The event attests to the great and supportive interest that the company has in those who have taken part in and enlivened the spectacular one-make championship over the fourteen years in which it ran, as well as all those enthusiasts of the marque that intend taking to the track alongside the competitors.
