FDA - Third leg of “Dai Gas alla Sicurezza” road safety programme comes to Monza

Maranello, 17 October – After Modena and Padua, today it was the turn of Monza to host the third stage of the “Dai Gas alla Sicurezza” the road safety campaign aimed at young drivers and promoted by the Ferrari Driver Academy in collaboration with the Highway Police.

The Great Hall of the Achille Mapelli Institute in Monza, hosted the event this morning for 300 fourth and fifth year students, which featured the presence of the Ferrari academy students, Raffaele Marciello and Brandon Maisano who played their part in a lesson on road safety, drawing interesting parallels between driving on the track and the road.

The students also received complimentary tickets for the final round of this weekend’s Italian Formula 3 Championship at the Monza circuit. In fact this will be the backdrop for Maisano’s attempt to take the lead in the classification, having been in the running all season long. Marciello meanwhile will be in action in Hockenheim in the final round of the Formula 3 Euro Series.
