FDA - An almost perfect weekend for Stroll

Maranello, 24 September- Lance Stroll, the Canadian Ferrari Driver Academy student has a glass that is definitely half full after he tackled the important World Cup KF3 as part of the CIK-FIA series at Zuera in Spain. Having taken pole and come first in the qualifying session and then securing third place in the pre-final, Stroll’s race was then compromised in the final, after just three laps, because of a collision with another competitor, who was later disqualified. However, the youngster’s performance was positive and he deserved to have won the title, as head of the FDA programme, Luca Baldisserri confirmed. “Karting is without a doubt the training ground for race drivers of the future and even if he did not win the final, Stroll proved he has plenty of talent which will no doubt see him achieve great things in the future.”
