FDA – Tough time for Marciello in final Hockenheim race

Maranello, 29 April – No luck for Raffaele Marciello today in this weekend’s opening round of the Formula 3 Euro Series at Hockenheim. Having finished sixth in Race 1 and taking the win in Race 2 yesterday, the final race did not bring the hoped for result for the Ferrari Driver Academy youngster. He started ninth on the grid and was immediately given a drive-through penalty for exceeding the speed limit at the first corner. He ended up thirteenth at the flag, but nevertheless there was plenty to celebrate given that the Prema team dominated all three races, thanks to two wins for Spain’s Daniel Juncadella, who shared the spoils with Marciello this weekend. The next round of the F3 Euro Series takes place on 20 May at Brands Hatch.
