Montmelo, 9th May 2009 – Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen concluded the Spanish GP’s third free practice session on the time sheet’s first and second position respectively with lap times of 1.20:553 and 1.20:635. Third position went to Brawn GP’s Button.

A positive and intense session of one hour for the drivers of the Prancing Horse on hard compound during the first two runs and on the soft compound for the last. The result confirms the Scuderia’s step forward thanks to hard work over the last weeks and modifications of the aero package brought to Spain. In the afternoon during the qualifying, starting at 2pm, the free practice results should be repeated.
