Valencia, 1 December 2012 – Today’s programme for the six Spanish guests here in Valencia for the Community event was similar to the other Challenge events, but it had a very different taste to it: here at the Ricardo Tormo circuit it’s time to celebrate and numerous cars – from single-seater to the XX and the Challenge participants – from all the different series are lined up.
Here are some impressions from our guests after at tour of the pit lane, the box and a visit at the director’s van, chats with the drivers and the mechanics and a meeting with some of their idols:
Adrian: "what a wonderful day. I met Marc Gene. I really adore him and it was just great talking to him."
Joan Carles: "watching the race from the production van was the most exciting moment, because I really like the rhythm, the change of perspective and the technical aspects.”
Magda: "it was all really great, visiting the box, listening to the engine sounds, getting the feel of the atmosphere, meeting Marc Gene. We really appreciate him and now we finally met him. I’m waiting for tomorrow, for the most exciting moment.”
Connie: "every single moment was just wonderful, but seeing Alonso’s car in the garage was the most exciting moment of them all."
Cristian: "we spoke to the head technician and what he told us was extremely interesting. I really liked the director’s van, because I always asked myself how it works with the live transmission. Now I know.”
Nacho: "it didn’t seem like the second time, because it was fabulous! Everything was just great. We’re only waiting for tomorrow now and we hope to be invited to Maranello soon.”
Tomorrow will be the most important day of the Finali Mondiali with some exceptional surprises. Greetings from Valencia!
