A difficult afternoon

After 5 years Formula 1 has found a new "home" in the United States: the Circuit of the Americas near Austin, the capital of Texas. It wasn't a great day for the Scuderia fans on the grandstands on the other side of the Atlantic. At the end of a difficult qualifyfing session Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso had driven the seventh and ninth fastest lap time respectively. And it doesn't help that both cars have to start from the dirty side of the track, although Alonso will move one position up, due to a penalty for Grosjean, because he had to change the gearbox on his Lotus.
Our problem today was bringing the tyres up to the right temperature on this extremely slippery track. The relatively low temperatures didn't help either. We had more problem with this fact than our competitors.
Considering from where Vettel, Fernando's contender for the title, will start, tomorrow's race won't be easy at all. But attention: that does't mean that the team will not go to the limit. Just like our Spanish driver said: "our objective hasn't changed and can still be reached: many things can happen on Sunday". On a new track where hardly any data is abailable many unknown factors exist for all in the lomg upcoming race. The Scuderia wants to keep the ambitions for the World Title for Fernando alive for another seven days, until Interlagos, to go for the Title right until the end.
