Vallelunga, 6 October 2012 - On a warm and sunny day the guests from the Community were invited to follow the qualifyings for tomorrow's races in the Challenge championship from close up.
Mirko from Marino has been a Ferrari fans since he was 11 years old. He has been a member of the Community for 3 years and has already been to Vallelunga before, but never as a guest of Ferrari.
"It was such a passionate day so close to these powerful cars. Something that doesn't happen every day. I was so impressed by how I was involved in the event and I could even go on a lap on the track in a Ferrari 458 Italia. I never thought to be in a Ferrari, let alone go on a ride on a track...I really want to thank the Community, because otherwise I would never had the oppoprtunity to make such an experience"
Francesco is from Rome and knows the Vallelunga race track very well, where he followed the races of Formula 3000, Turismo Championship and the Ferrari Challenge over the last 20 years. "My dad runs a garage and that's where I grew up. I went to the box and chatted about technical details about the cars. This was really good for me, because I learned a lot about motorsport comptetitions. I was really looking forward to the lap on the track. I did it and I was very lucky. It was so exciting. Especially, because it was the first time for me that I did a lap on this track. That's where I saw how technically challenging it actually is. It's something you don't really see on TV or from the grandstands. I've been a member of the Community for two years now. I think it's a must for fans, because you have the possibility to gain access to areas, which usually are off limits. Last year I was here in the paddock, but this year was completely diffent at the garages. I also participated in the Passion Day in Mugello this year, which also was a wonderful experience."
Tomorrow two other users will come to Vallelunga for an unforgettable day.
