Monza, 7 September 2012 – An unforgettable day for the 3 guests of Ferrari Racing Legends, chosen amongst the Scuderia Ferrari Community Premium Users.
The guests arrived in Monza in the morning from Munich, Turin and Genoa. They immediately “tasted” the track from the Ferrari grandstand at the finishing line of the newly asphalted Monza circuit.
At 12:30pm they went for an exclusive walk along the pit lane to see the boxes from the outside. They entered the Ferrari box for a photo in front of the cars of Alonso and Massa while the mechanics where at work on the single-seaters.
The engine sound of the Formula 1 single-seaters fascinated the guests, while they were following the 90 minutes of free practice sessions.
The day went on with some laps on the simulator on the track of Monza. And then: the eagerly awaited moment of the video chat with Massimo Rivola, where the guests had the possibility to ask the Scuderia Ferrari Sporting Director their questions and participate in the entire live session.
Later on in Monza on the main square the Scuderia Ferrari Clubs came together for some activities with the Scuderia: an intense session of the pit stop race.
The day ended with a dinner at the restaurant together with the staff, while tomorrow will be an equally exciting day.
Here are the guests’ statements:
Simone Farina: A perfect day. A great first GP experience. I’ve never seen one before. Very nice to interact with the members of the Team. I really enjoyed the different activities, the visit at the pit lane, the video chat… wonderful!
Michael Schellhorn: It was a fantastic day. Spending it with the Team was really exciting. It was amazing entering the pit lane and seeing the Formula 1 teams from close up. I need to sleep on all of this. I really liked the person from the Staff here with us, but also the other people from Ferrari dedicated lots of time to us. The simulator I like the most. It’s so close to reality, it seems you’re driving for real.
Juan Pablo Evangelista: A positive day, I met many interesting and open people. We saw the human side of the Scuderia. The next days I hope to understand more about the Team and how it works, the hierarchy, the competences. And I hope that the weekend ends in the best possible way, with a win.
