His Eminence Cardinal Bertone visiting Ferrari

Maranello, 22 January 2012 - Yesterday a truly very special guest visited Ferrari. On his way to Imola, where he is taking part in the appointment ceremony of the Bishop of Carpi, His Eminence Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone accepted an invitation from Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo and stopped at Ferrari for a strictly private visit.

Luca di Montezemolo and Cardinal Bertone have known each other for many years and yesterday found the time for a long conversation. The Ferrari Chairman showed the Cardinal around some of the production areas, where the road cars are assembled, as well as the Scuderia department.

Here Cardinal Bertone met some technicians and mechanics from the Scuderia Ferrari at work for the preparations of the new single-seater, which the Cardinal was able to see in a "world premiere". Also interested in the technological aspects and supporter of the Scuderia Ferrari, His Eminence wished the whole team good work.

Cardinal Bertone was accompanied by his closest collaborators, while Ferrari was also represented by Deputy Chairman Piero Ferrari, CEO Amedeo Felisa and the Head of the Scuderia Ferrari Stefano Domenicali.
