Enzo Ferrari statue at the Museum

As of today a statue of Enzo Ferrari, behind his desk at the Scuderia Ferrari office in Viale Trento Trieste in Modena can be seen at the Ferrari Muesum in Maranello. The statue depicts the details of the original “Hall of Competitions”, representing the company’s founder in the 1970s with one of his preferred ties with the Ferrari logo and a tiepin from Maranello’s Scuderia.

Museo Ferrari & Italia Classica

Sunday, September 25, Museo Ferrari has the pleasure to host the last day of Italia Classica - Ferrari Edition 2011, a car rally featuring the most important models that Ferrari built from the year 1947 to the 60s on a route that will lead from Maranello to the Venice Lido back to Museo Ferrari for the award ceremony.
In front of the Museo, on its parking area, starting from 12.30 to 2.30 pm, you will be able to admire all these prestigious models and appreciate them from up close with the help and assistance of our dedicated guides who will be at your disposal.

Museo Ferrari, September 7, 2011: exceptional opening until 12 a.m. for the exhibition of Ferrari Spider Gran Tour 2011 cars

Within the framework of the Ferrari event for the launch of the new model 458 Spider scheduled for September 7 and reserved for Ferrari customers, all cars participating in the Ferrari Spider Gran Tour 2011 will be displayed in the parking area in front of the Museo Ferrari in Maranello starting from about 3 p.m.

The cars, some of the most prestigious ones of the entire Ferrari production and, of course, all in their roadster version, will arrive at Maranello from Forte dei Marmi and, after one lap on the Fiorano race track, will park in front of the Museum in order for all visitors to catch the opportunity to admire them.

Particularly interesting is the Superamerica 45 of New York-based collector Peter Kalikow, a unique model made by Ferrari within its Special Projects program.

The museum will remain exceptionally open to the public until 12 a.m. midnight, and a special admission ticket at 7 Euros per person will be sold after 7 p.m.

The Ferrari Museum at Imola for the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup

The Ferrari Museum, on the occasion of the "6 hours of Imola" race, valid for the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, will be present at the "Enzo e Dino Ferrari" circuit in Imola on July 3.

The Museum's exhibition, fitted out in the paddock area of the circuit and dedicated to the victories of Ferrari in the "24 hours of Le Mans", will be open for visits to all holders of an admission ticket to the event.

The race, organized by the Automobil Club de l'Ouest, is one of a group of seven scheduled between March and November in three different continents: the "12 hours of Sebring" and the "Petit Le Mans" in the United States, the "1,000 Km of Spa-Francorchamps" the "24 hours of Le Mans", and the "6 hours of Silverstone" in Europe, and finally a race that will be held in China in November.

Museo Ferrari and Automobil Club de l'Ouest have entered a special agreement for the event: all those people who will visit the Museum and show the ticket of the "6 hours of Imola", will receive a €2,00 discount on the admission price.*

The Ferrari Museum for Charity

The Ferrari Museum, together with the Ferrari Club Italia, will participate in the "Happening della Solidarietà - Memorial Enzo e Dino Ferrari", an event organized by the ACI of Bologna in collaboration with the Town of Imola on June 16 and 17, with an exhibition fully dedicated to the Formula 1. Proceeds of the event will be donated to the FA.NE.P. of Bologna, the Casa di Accoglienza Anna Guglielmi of Imola and the Gaslini Hospital of Genoa.

Marc Genè will be the testimonial of this event, which will include a race, where the cars of the Members of Ferrari Club Italia will compete for the annual trophy, and several activities organized in the paddock area: a Go Kart course for races with time taking, safe driving courses with 500 Abarth cars, and the opportunity to ride on the track in a Ferrari Challenge car next to drivers of the official teams.

In order to help the fund raising event, you can purchase the € 5.00 ticket from resellers indicated in the website www.acibologna.com. The ticket is valid to access the paddock area of the Circuit for both days and to take part in the drawing of final prizes.

Galleria Ferrari at the Children's tour in Modena

The Children's tour - the holidays fair for child from 0 to 14 - dedicated to children's tourist desires and needs, will return to ModenaFiere from March 17 to 20.
The show proposes places and accommodation structures from all over Italy that reserve specific projects for children’s sensitivity and needs.
The Children´s Tour also addresses the more and more numerous teenagers who travel alone, with their school or sports club, who have the opportunity to discover several bargains and alternatives.
Galleria Ferrari will participate in the show with a stand dedicated to Formula 1 also this year: the 248 F1 and some memorabilia will be showcased. Meetings with the Galleria

Galleria Ferrari will participate in the eighth edition of the Old Time Show exhibition, which will be held at the Fiera di Forlì on March 12 and 13, 2011.
This year’s edition, in fact, includes a theme exhibition fully dedicated to Ferrari “Un mondo di Ferrari - dal '50 ad oggi” (A world of Ferrari - from 1950 to the present), where the Galleria will exhibit the 1951 166 F2.

February 18, 1898: the Birthday of the Founder of the Ferrari Myth
Enzo Anselmo Ferrari was born in Modena on February 18, 1898, but his parents only registered his birth two days later because of a heavy snowfall.
He lived his life, fully dedicated to cars, always at top speed, amongst victories and triumphs in a 20th century Italy he helped to turn great and highly esteemed.
Ferrari chairman, Luca di Montezemolo, describes him as follows: "A man who, with genius and stubborn determination, was able to make a dream, which back then was deemed to be almost mad by somebody, become a sports and industrial reality that is now admired and envied all over the world".
On the occasion of the celebration of Enzo Ferrari's birthday, you will be allowed to visit the Galleria at a reduced price.

 THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS IN THE GALLERIA

On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, some special initiatives dedicated by the Galleria Ferrari of Maranello to children and also those adults who want to be enchanted by the magic of Christmas will start on Sunday, December 12.

All children visiting the Galleria on Sunday, December 12 and Sunday, December 19 may write their personal Christmas letter and hand it over to Santa Claus in a laboratory area arranged within the exhibition.

Anyway, Santa Claus' Post Office will remain open and children may post their letter during the whole period.

In particular, on Sunday 12, the whole family may admire the performance of a group of flying dancers, acrobats and trapeze artists who will draw their choreography in the air, magically suspended over the world champion racers exhibited in the Victory Hall.

An additional option to increase the magic will be the exclusive opportunity for all visitors to the Galleria on that day to access the Fiorano track on board a Ferrari shuttle, accompanied by a guide who will illustrate the circuit features.

The Galleria Ferrari will remain open also in the Christmas period (except for December 25) from 9:30 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.

The 17th edition of Nissan Skipass, Tourist fair for winter sports and freestyle, is scheduled at ModenaFiere from Friday 29th October until Monday 1st November 2010. The display dedicated to holidays and to snow sports is the the key event in Italy for operators and fans of winter mountain sports.

Galleria Ferrari will be guests at the "Consorzio Valli del Cimone" stand, and thanks to a special agreement with the Consorzio, will offer a 2,00€ discount on the ticket fee to the Museum to everyone who owns a Skipass.

The promotion is valid until the end of the ski season and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
