History: from Nordschleife to the new track
The Nürburgring circuit is one of the most exciting and dangerous race tracks in the history of motorsport. Inaugurated in the year 1927 it was a whole 22.8 kilometres long with 174 corners, ups and downs through the Black Forest between Adenau, Nürburg and Müllenbach.
