Ferrari donates several special items to Telethon’s charity auction. Telethon is an institution dedicated to collect funds to finance scientific research for genetic diseases and pathologies overlooked by public and private investment.
The collaboration between the Italian National Olympic Committee and Ferrari, launched in the year 2007 and officially presented in February 2008, has been set up for researching solutions in favour of the National Sports federations in the area of projects related to technology such as aerodynamics, vehicles and materials.
For the first time Ferrari dedicates one of the Company's cars to an online auction. For the occasion a very special model has been chosen for an equally important cause: Chairman Luca di Montezemolo offers his personal 599 GTB Fiorano to sponsor young researchers working on projects dedicated to technological innovation.
