Titanium exhaust tips
The titanium version of the exhaust tips developed on the same stylistic basis as the standard tips is a perfect example of the constant activity of product improvement at Ferrari. The Ferrari logo, applied by laser micro-engraving directly on the exhaust tips, completes the finish of this new tip: a non invasive reference to the brand and style, in tune with tradition.
The addition of the inliner compared to the standard version reduces exhaust fume particulate which otherwise would soil the outlet. The use of titanium, which combines the mechanical characteristics of the highest grade steel with a lower specific weight, made it possible to cut the component weight by 50%.
Titanium lends the tips a characteristic colour, creating an attractive chromatic contrast with the grille fender, also made in titanium, but in a darker more opaque shade resulting from the different mechanical processing it undergoes compared to the tips.
