Carbon engine hood
Designed specifically to reduce the weight of the component, the carbon-fibre engine hood is made entirely of hi-tech materials taken directly from the racing world.
The frame, made entirely of carbon fibre, supports a rear window made of a polycarbonate material that is used in the racing field as an alternative to glass, providing high transparency, light weight, and long life thanks to the anti-scratch treatment. The use of this material prevents connection of the standard heated rear window, which is therefore disconnected. The new grilles, combined with the hood, without surrounds and fully open, ensure a higher flow rate of hot air from the engine. The effect obtained is reduction of the weight of the component, improved thermal conditions of the engine compartment, plus a new appearance for the car, with a highly sporty and technical look.
