The diffuser is a key element for the aerodynamics of the car, designed with the most innovative computational fluid dynamics techniques (CFD) and optimised in the wind tunnel in such a way as to maximise the aerodynamic efficiency of the underbody, interaction with the ground and management of engine flows.
This element guarantees, jointly with the other aerodynamic elements of the vehicle, a slight but wide vacuum on the underside of the vehicle, which increases the aerodynamic load acting on the car, while the fins orient the flow in such a way as to minimise turbulence and its negative effect. The exposed carbon fibre version, apart from executing its primary aerodynamic function, makes it possible to achieve a significant reduction in the weight of the component, imparting a highly sports-oriented and technical appearance to the car.
