To integrate and complement the HGTE performance kit which characterises the performance and sound of the 599 GTB, a number of components have been developed which highlight the V12 engine, the "heart" of the vehicle, in the engine compartment.
New lighter carbon-fibre covers serve the same purpose as standard panels in terms of heat resistance and emphasise the airbox: the engine compartment has more technical look and the engine stands out as it is reflected in the shiny carbon finish.
The oil cap, redesigned and made entirely of titanium, sums up the latest forging, coining and machining technologies.
The design which was created for the F430 has been extended to the 599 with a product that combines the stylish echoes of the past with modern three-dimensional modelling.
