The specific Ferrari Genuine wheel is an extremely lightweight multi-spoke wheel which may only be specified in conjunction with the titanium studs with captive conical washer in aluminium. This reduces rotating masses by approximately 1 Kg per wheel compared with even the most extreme optional wheel available - a 5 spoke forged component used in conjunction with steel studs.
The design of the wheel is a technological and styling evolution of the concept introduced by the wheels for the F430 Scuderia. In this latest evolution, the forms are tauter and the spokes are narrower, creating an impression of lightness, speed and ultimate drivability.
The wheel is available in "Grigio Corsa" and diamond "Grigio Corsa".
Forged wheel rims kit
The optional forged wheels for the 458 are available as part of the Aftermarket range. These wheels, developed together with the car and presented as a preview on the exclusive F430 16M, feature a traditional 5 spoke design.
Advanced manufacturing technology has made it possible to pare the 5 spoke concept down to its most essential expression yet, with ultra-slim spokes taking the concept of lightness to extreme new levels.
The wheel is available in "Grigio Corsa", diamond "Grigio Corsa" and Silver.
Standard wheel rims kit
The standard wheel features a technical, futuristic design that maximises the technological capabilities of the casting process. In addition to the Silver version, the wheel is also available with a “black chrome” effect paint finish, an innovative colour choice that accentuates the darker side of the 458 Italia.
