The Miller Motorsports Park is considered to be one of the best circuits of its kind in North America, around 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, in Tooele, Utah. Inaugurated in the year 2006 the circuit hosts some of the most prestigious motorsport competitions, such as the HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship, the American Le Mans Series, the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West and, as of 2010, the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series. The track is over seven kilometres long and up to 17 metres wide, offering four different layouts. Thanks to the landscape the spectators can follow the most important parts of the race, because the so-called oasis are located where the overtaking manoeuvres are carried out. The East Course offers seven sections for overtaking and 14 corners, including the s-bend (3) with a significant gradient and the last corner before the main straight, with a nine-degree inclination.
