"New aerodynamic solutions for Shanghai GP"

Shanghai, April 15th - The Chinese GP is held earlier this year than it was its tradition and was moved from autumn to spring. The season doesn’t change a lot in what I’m aiming for: gaining points and maybe even winning. In the past this race has always been good to me. I won here in 2007 and I often gained a place on the podium. Obviously I hope to repeat that.

I know that things are slightly more difficult this year. We started on the wrong foot, although honestly, we deserved at least some points for what we’ve seen in terms of performance. It’s useless, as I always say, to cry over spilled milk. We have to look ahead and we have to try to improve. The season is still very long, although the Court of Appeal’s verdict will have an important impact. We’ve got to develop the car even more, now that we can’t test on the track. We have to make up and we’ve got some aerodynamic improvements already here at Shanghai. But we also know that the others will do the same. We’ll see how the situation will be on Friday, but I hope that we’ll be a bit closer to the front-runners.

After Malaysia I went back home to Switzerland. During Easter I went to Finland, where I spent some time with my family and friends. It was really nice to go ice skating, just doing something different for once. I’ll arrive in China on Thursday. The goal is the usual one, being ahead of everybody else, or at least on the podium. The rest doesn’t count for much.

If you haven't wasted tyres in Q3, maybe your place in grid would be better. It's a pity! But I'm sure that you can overtake Rosberg e Trulli at the end of the first bend! Come on Kimi, always the best of all the F1 Circus!!!

I can not understand why ferrari takes so long time to adapt the car with the new a diffusor same as brown gp toyota and now renault... today alonso has win one second with the update on the car... we are the best and the most powerful team, why it takes so long time, why ferrari doesn't prepare for that same as renault... GO KIMI GOOD LUCK

Dearest Kimi, you should work hard and believe, that every failure is followed by the great success. Pay no attention at criticism. You know the best what you are to do, and no-one else. I keep the faith, that you're able to 'mark an epoch, to which you belong' once again. You're worthy of all the poems of the world, not only this one. Good luck!

Sleeping with a Dream Song for Kimi I was waiting for you for so long: And I never stopped singing my song Of your beauty, that made of an ice, And is keeping on blinding my eyes… Starry angel came into my life And just cut weary heart like a knife, Since I saw you on the track… Was it illusion or sunbeam: Once I’ve been sleeping with my dream… Now I’m hiding tears under the snow. Sink in pain, like I did years ago: We inhale every day the same air, But I think, anyway, how I dare… How I dare even whisper your name? Darkness falls. And no chance to escape, Since I saw you on the track… Still nearby a little stream, I’m only sleeping with my dream… In the world of misty shadows You’re an angel – ain’t it grand?– From beginning till the end; In your future I believe And your failure is a myth… Soon is your turn to touch the sky, The crown will never say goodbye… Forever young and sweet, you are to shine, Please, never give up guiding line! Mark an epoch, to which you belong, That’s the reason for me to be strong, Since I saw you on the track… I’d like again your eyes to gleam, Although I’m sleeping with a dream… Fernanda Lavallier October 17, 2008

This is my second time to post message on your blog. Again, I support you since the 1st year when you join F1. I saw you never give up performance in McLaren and Ferrari. Even F60 performance doesn't look good to challenge title, but I believe you will score points and also pidoum later of this year! Never give up! GO KIMI!!!

Kimi, you should qualify with less fuel so that you are in the top three during qualifying and with the softer tyres. I am sure with your skill and the help of KERS you can be 10 to 15 seconds ahead of the others by the time you come in for the first pit stop and not be held back down the order by the others. I am sure you will be on the podium in Bahrain and win in Spain!

No matter the result, I'll support you always. There was more tough situation than now before and you never lose the motivation. I was deeply moved by the spirit. I hope everything will going well with you also with the team. Maybe you don't care how much fans you've got because you only concentrated on the race.
